A ByK Dad is reaching his goals and setting great example for his kids
We've been following this ByK Dad for a little while after he posted a few pics and videos of his ByK kid enjoying riding, often whilst Dad was out training for marathons and Ironman events. Now this father will travel to Hawaii and compete in the Ironman World Championships - all for his kids. We wanted to congratulate him on the mammoth effort of training to reach such athletic feats and also for being nominated by his local Leader newspaper as this week's 'senior sports star'. It might seem trivial compared to the world stage he is about to compete on, but these kinds of accolades go a long way for showing our community and our kids the benefits and joy of living an active lifestyle. And we just can't help but say it... "ByK is the bike that bike riders buy their kids" - which is evident in this family! "The father-of-two started running when he became a dad five years ago and was determined to compete in the championship race before he reached 40 — all for his two boys."
